There are many opportunities available for you to partner with us and share your talents and gifts. We have opportunities to fit a variety of schedules and strengths. You can review the descriptions below and then submit a volunteer application  If you just can’t wait – call us at 209-201-2905.

Fun Activities coordinator: Create fun events for the children and youth in the Meadows apartments. You will be working with some amazing people to plan and host movie nights, game nights, outdoor activities, and anything else that you can imagine that will get our kids up and moving.

Why: Because active children are healthier children, they do better in school and develop better lifestyle habits.
Time commitment: 2 hours/ week
When: Fridays from 4-6pm

Homework assistance: Help young people succeed in school by helping them with their homework.
Why: Because children who succeed in school are less likely to join gangs or do drugs.
Time commitment: 2 hours/week
When: Wednesdays from 4-6pm

Crafts coordinator: Create arts, crafts and science projects to inspire creativity, imagination, and exploration for the children living in the Meadows.

Why: Creating a hunger for learning is the best way to keep children in school.

Time commitment: 2 hours/week

When: Thursdays from 4-6pm

Trip Coordinator: Help children and young people experience new things! Assist in coordinating trips to the library, museums, Boys and Girls club, the zoo, the lake, plays, games and other activities.

Why: To help children see the wealth of opportunities in this town.

Time commitment: 4/month

When: Flexible

Reading Time: Read to the children in the Meadows.
Why: Books open the world for children and encourage them to dream bigger dreams and imagine greater possibilities.
